Craig lost his cell phone, and until he gets it replaced in about a week or so, the 2nd number no longer works! But you can call his work cell number which is 602-692-0495. The 4199 number is my cell and is still fine to use
My cam is back on!

For CheyAut Ranch's 2nd and final foal of the year.
http://www.marestare.com/cam.php?alias=cheyautHRK Kates Chocolat Creme de Coco, aka Cocoa, AMHA/AMHR silver buckskin dun mare:

In foal to our National Top Ten stallion VFG El Arlequin, aka Spin, AMHA/AMHR/FBR black leopard appy:

For those of you who have watched my cam... Cocoa is the mother to Sierra (CheyAuts Perfect Attraction) who was born on marestare last year, and Spin is the sire to Shakespeare (CheyAuts ToBe Or Not ToBe) who was born to Sage here on Marestare this past April.
Of course, I'm hoping for spots!

Cocoa is Ee Aa Zn Crn and Spin is Ee aa, so the color possibilities are huge! Anyone wanna take a guess?
In a minute I'll post some belly and udder shots...
***We are in the midst of Monsoon Season here in Az. That means severe thunderstorms take place often, in the evening/night. Because of this, the camera may be turned off. We are also in the summer of course (never meant for a foal this late!) so it gets HOT during the day! The computer that the camera connects to has to be in our laundry room (that's where the cam cord reaches) and it's not insulated so gets very hot in there. So I will often have the cam off during the day as well. When she is CLOSE I will leave it on.***
I do not mind false alarm calls. If you think she's in labor, please call!!! However, I dont' always answer the phone, so leave a message please. If I don't answer, it doesn't mean I don't hear it, the first thing I will do is check the camera. But you can also call hubby. Both our numbers are on the cam page. But here as well: My cell is 602-989-4199 and Craig's is 623-694-4313. You can text me as well if you have texting capabilities.
When our mares are in labor, we hang out outside, a little distance from their pens. We can watch them, but far enough that we don't disturb them. When they are down and really going for it and/or their water breaks, I (or Craig if I'm on my way home from work!) go in the stall to check everything is ok. So remember, we stay out of the stall at first, but doesnt' mean we're not there

I work nights, 7 on/7 off. At work I can watch via my laptop, but it doesn't always keep an internet connection (via aircard, can't watch from the work computers anymore). When she is CLOSE Craig will sleep at the foot of the bed to get the best view of the monitor (he always does lol) and wakes constantly. During my off week I sleep at night, but again will wake up constantly to check. I will keep an update of which week it is on here, so extra help is really nice on my off week at night! (help is great at all times though of course)
