I thought it was my computer as even hitting to test the hi and low alert gave no sound last night. (Managed to catch Aprils sad delivery and outcome, as well as Suzys delivery despite no alert) today however can hear the alerts fine, and interestingly the alerts showed up on the barn alarm panel today, where I saw Aprils colt passed  Boo Hoo

Just wondered if anyone else noticed lack of alert or if it was just me.

Sorry to say it was your computer. The test functions do not have anything to do with the server. Sometimes hitting a test button immediately upon loading the page results in no sound, as it can take a few seconds to download the sound files. But once they are downloaded to your computer, they play locally. The test buttons play each file, respectively, until you hit Stop.

If the test buttons do not work, then chances are there is a problem in downloading the page (perhaps your internet connection burped before the page was finished) or there is a problem with your sound card driver or the Flash player. First try refreshing the page (click inside the page and hit F5.) If that doesn't work, rebooting the computer is the easiest and most effective way to fix the problem.

I tried saving the plug in 3 times, each time my computer froze and firefox ended up crashing.  Once my computer also rebooted. I also tried googling for that plugin and saving it that way, same thing. Will wait til tomorrow I guess. But for what its worth, if it means anything, the cams that have the bar on top to zoom in load fine, its the other type cams that show just black screens. Like I can see Kruger cam so watched that delivery.

But the cams like J Bar S http://www.marestare.com/cam.php?alias=jbars function differently I guess with the umedia? and dont load
