FireFox 4
« on: March 24, 2011, 05:14:38 PM »
I have tested FireFox 4 with our Unreal Media and Flash plugins and I'm happy to report that I have encountered no issues.

Feel free to upgrade if you so choose. FF4 is claimed to be faster than FF3, but I don't have enough experience with it to verify or refute this claim.

I have downloaded FF4 and am very happy with it.  I got very excited when I read I could possibly open up UMedia cams with FF now instead of IE but for some reason it is not working for me :(  When I open a UMedia cam I get a message that the PlugIn has crashed. One improvement though, at least it doesn't crash my ENTIRE FF windows anymore

Any suggestions, Rich? Is there something I maybe need to download?

Thanks in advance!

I have always been able to open Umedia cams with FireFox. You probably need to see this thread and follow the directions exactly.

The only thing that doesn't work on FireFox is the size function, but that's the plugin's fault, not FireFox's.
