SUGAR *COLT 3/28**ANGEL COLT 3/31* @Owens Top Of The Hill Horses
« on: February 24, 2019, 08:57:12 PM »
This year Owens Top Of The Hill Horses has 4 mare due to foal.
2019 due dates: Miss rave (2/16)  Sugar (4/2) Sissy (4/14) Star (5/18)

Little about the girls. :hooray:

#1 Colt 2/20.....Owens Rave Image "Miss rave"(Due 2/5 to 20th )bred to Owens Golden Hot Rod 3-3 to 3-11. She is 13yr old ASB a repeated marestare girl. Partially blind, from brain injury. Very anzy high strong mare. Also sucks feeders not a true cribber.

#2 Colt 3/28 ...... Brown "Sugar"(3/22 to 4/6) ASB 7 yrs old maiden mare sweet girl bred to Owens Goden Hot rod 4/20,21,22,25

#3  ANGEL FOAL (2/27) - Dreaming on air(Sissy)(due 4/3 to 18th)bred To Owens Rave About this! bred 3/30,31 to 5/6,7)  A 11 yr old ASB a repeated marestare girl. She just had the 2 foal. Shes a very dominant mare and protective.

#4 "Star" White Star Bright-(due 5/7 to 22)l bred to Owens Goden Hot rod 6/10 This mare is 16yr old ASB took 5 yrs to get in foal, she is a maiden mare. She was a show horse. Sweet girl.

I will start a new thread for each one as they are Due and are on cams.

Cam #1 on left is always foaling stall, the mare that is due at present time.
Cam #2 to right is the foaling run out, and back up foaling stall, usually have to mares in foal there, but early in year may just be any mares. Also this stall drags allot of mudd in from run out.
Cam #3 is arena where they will be if not in stall.
Cam #4 north view of barn showing front of foaling stall of Cam #1 it on right top corner . You will see staff if there.

FYI..I also have 8 mores cams up on a different system of other horses and a back up foaling stall cam in case something happen to the 4 cam system I have foaling stall still at view.
Also sometimes when im on my other system the cams will freeze up on marestare. It over whelms the internet.

My Info for contact is as following
#1 My cell (217)273-3199 I tx on this too, please use this number  first. To contact me I Prefer a text any time with questions.
2nd # (217)567-3199 Is on silent usually

Sugar n sissy are in the run out foaling stall cam 2. I think sugar will go first, shes starting to bag.. shes the smaller of the 2. both are bay mares. When Miss rave foal get older ill move then there n put sugar in foaling stall n sissy in another cam stall. that will lose the arena view when I do that.
thanks for eyes

This is not a very good update this morning. Im very upset this morning.. Sissy lost her foal, n lady lost hers, day miss rave had hers(2/20). The vet seams to think we have exposed the mares to rhinopneumonitis. I have a customer that has horses at track n her stallion came back mid Dec. Vet think he has carried it in. Miss Rave had been vaccine in past with it so he thinks she was saved by it. So Sugar has been moved to stall for day. I will disinfect there stall, barn n the stallions. I will move him out of barn tonight. Hope to have sugar back in runout tonight will also close the runout door at night so we can watch her. Lady foal was develop enough might have lived if caught in time even tho Lady had no milk but sure miss rave milk would have helped. So if Sugar does go early maybe we can help them if caught. so im really puzzled n lost right now. yrs ago we had Quiz lose foal he thought the same then, n he told me to vaccine mares so I did n the next year, but have not had any problems till now.
thanks everyone for help n eyes.

question is Miss Rave's little man safe from this virus , does he have passive immunity from rave or do we need to watch him close as well on the camera?

Ok so I kept sugar in all day, it was nasty day, n will keep in tomorrow also. When we turned her in arena she rolled allot. The foal has moved in position, she dropped n sides are out, back in is not ready either. she still has no milk. Im worried sick about her. Have been giving her badamine twice a day to help. Any eyes n report would be greatly appreciated. Also prayers this foal lives. cleaned the cobwebs of cam today also. thanks
