Tru has had two foals, a bay dun Tobiano colt (12 days late) and a bay dun Tobiano filly (9 days late).

I will update often with the changes in the ladies in waiting.

First Up:
This is Chica's third foal with us. For her 1st foal she had a bit of dried milk on her legs the night before she foaled form the pressure of laying down and then had some good-sized wax and some milk droplets on her legs and teats the day she did foal and dripped from the afternoon on until foaling. With her s2nd foal more of the same, dripping milk and large "waxscicles" on both teats.

Second Up:
This is Trinity\'s first foal so she is our biggest wild card that is for sure. We aren\'t sure what she will do. Her half-sister and her mother both like to go early - so maybe she will as well. Hard to say.

Third Up:
This is Holly's second foal with us, for her 1st foal she was a bit off attitude wise the day before, lots of rolls and laying down and would have dried milk on her legs. And she had an itty bitty bit of wax on her teats the day of foaling.

Forth Up:
This is Tru's third foal, the last two years she made us wait, and wait and WAIT some more - I really hope she doesn't do that this year! With her first foal she was 12 days late and she started dripping milk around supper time the night she foaled. With her second foal she was 9 days late and she waxed the day before foaling and dripped a bit of milk.

If you notice any of the mares showing signs and that I'm not posting then please try calling/texting my cell (902) 986-6999 and if you don't get a response on that phone please try calling my Anna (902) 956-4794 she knows where I am 24/7. And if you can't get through on either of those numbers there is my husbands number (902) 897-8513.  The extra eyes are greatly appreciated especially at night! I will post many updates on her behaviour and changes in their body as time goes on!

March 14th PM UPDATE:
Girls are in for the night.

Chica has started to build some clear wax on her right teat. If she continues to build like she has in previous years she should be within the next 24/48 hours.

Trinity has no new developments.

Holly and Tru had a bit of discharge around their vulvas which indicates softening of the cervix.

Well that was an eventful morning. I went to check on Chica before going in town for some appointments and I watched her lay down as I walked across the field but just looked like she was getting ready for a nap - but as I got closer I saw a white bubble at her hind end! Called for Anna to get the halter and called to Darcie to start putting hay down in the foaling stall. We quickly ushered Chica into the stall where she laid down and had baby out in a matter of seconds. She had a stunning sorrel tobiano filly with one blue eye and one brown eye. Both mum and baby are doing well!
