« on: March 27, 2019, 11:05:58 AM »
We are back for another season. We only have two mares due this year and they are both progressing slowly. Ptinah is an Arab mare who has had two fillies for us before and Emmie is a homebred who was born on MareStare in 2015. Both are in foal to our stallion Artrageous.

Emmie **FILLY 4/12**(4/6)

We're working on getting our cameras up currently.

curious  question, is Emmie merlin's daughter, she so looks like the little filly i watched come into this world and she has the same markings as merlin's foal did.

We spent most of the day on Monday with Windstream trying to get our internet back up.  Finally got it back about 6PM so it was down 18 hours.  Hopefully this will not happen again.  Neither mare has progressed enough yet to be in the foaling stall on camera. Emmie is due this weekend and Ptinah was due last weekend.  We think she is carrying a colt this time as her disposition the entire pregnancy has been completely different from the two fillies she had.  She is also late for the first time.  We shall see......  She and Emmie have about the same less-than-half udder and tight tailheads.  May have two foaling at once.  Not fun... :D   Thank you, everyone who is watching.

Ptinah's milk is starting to change. Tested at 6.8 pH tonight. Emmie still has a way to go udder-wise, but they are both in the foaling paddock for the night.

Owner update -

Neither mare is progressing much yet. Ptinah's milk is still testing at 6.8 or so and I was able to get a drop from Emmie and it looks to be about the same. Neither of them still have a full udder.

Then again, since Emmie is a maiden who knows what she will do!

Neither mare progressing very rapidly though both udders are filling slowly - Ptinah is about 75%, but she has transformed in 12 hours before. However, there are no other visible signs.  Both mares are still testing at pH6.8 and as wide as tall.  Still in the foaling paddock on camera.  Will test milk again tonight.
