yippee  Laurie's been on with her first Africa stories.  By the way, will I find those same rocks in my  Christmas Stocking  ?  I hope you're taking a nap after your appointment and that you're feeling better.

Carol...Sorry you missed the rest of the game the other night.  I hope tonight balances the numbers so that it can be a one game shoot out for the 7th game.   yippee Fantastic (and cheaper) news about the garage door.  Thank goodness you got such an honest repairman too.  It could have gone the other way.

Jean... Jingles for Joel, our newest casualty to the flu.

Bev...What a shame that the precious owners of Splash might have been hiding a problem.  Here's to the shoes working.  The picture of Ginger is lovely...sweet, sweet dog and shame on that family for giving up on her.  You should share that story with Gen because of the rottie Bonnie that she fostered.

Okay girls...all those plans I had for today...scratched them all.  The "thick" feeling in my throat turned to a sore throat.  I've been playing doctor today and took a nap this afternoon.  I did call the jury office to run it by them.  How do they feel about people coming in to infect the whole jury, etc.?   I told her I probably got it there after sitting in a courtroom for three days where people all around were coughing.  She agreed and said that the office she was going to transfer me to were all home sick.  Pulling out my hair!  If I'm flat out sick tomorrow, I have to call in.  If I can make it, c'mon in and tell the bailiff before we get started.  If I was the judge, I wouldn't want any germs coming in to compromise this jury and the case.  Speaking of the jury...I'm very uncomfortable with the placement of we four alternates.  We're below the jury box, outside the jury box at floor level with no wood wall in front of us.  We are so exposed and only about 5 feet one direction away from the witness stand, a few feet to the court reporter and about 5 feet in another direction to the legal crew and the defendant.  Everyone will see any move we make...awkward!!!

Wishing everyone a great evening and I hope we get to see some Africa pictures soon.  smile1  Oh my gosh...went to post and there are some...gotta go see.  yippee

Welcome home Laurie and thank you for the pix.  Can't wait to see more and hear more.  What a once in a lifetime experience.  However, I'm sorry you were/are sick and hope it didn't take too much enjoyment out of it all for you.
Good night everyone.,  Off to watch the game.  Here's hoping the Phil's can take it to a seventh and deciding game.  What a nail biter this has been.  Sometimes I turn the TV off.  It all makes me too nervous.
Hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected given everything going on in all of our lives.  Have a good night and a good day tomorrow.  Almost Friday.      smile1      Beckie, I hope all is well.     Phyl

Pam.. the version that went through the tour group started with a lady with a sore throat, hers went to 100+ temp and then a nasty cough.  I got it from her next, and it was sore throat for 3 or 4 days, then no voice for two, now have the cough and snotty nose.  The other four ladies that got the bug after me all started with the sore throat, then went to the cough....  none of us had the temp tho.  We didnt' know she had a temp, so didn't know to start taking the Tamiflu we all had with us.

I recommend a call to your Dr tomorrow, and ask for a Tamiflu prescrip.  One a day for preventative, two a day if you get the bug.  Chuck started on his one a day today.

Sorry you are sick...

The beautiful lady in the pix I took was a waitress in a restaurant we ate at... she was SOOOO pretty, I had to take her pix.

Thanks for the welcome home everyone...

Beckie,  I hope Morgan and Kayce are feeling better today and that Aiden made it through his surgery with flying colors and is doing well today too.

Emily said 11 kids were out in one of her classes today,  her school was  scheduled to get their shots Nov 12 but now it is postponed, but we got a talk mail saying there are a few clinics who got the vaccine and will be open to the public but only for certain people.

Bev,  I love to hear when someone rescues a pet, it gives the furbabies a new beginning and a forever home.  Ginger looks like she is adorable and a sweetheart too

Laurie, the lady is beautiful,  I love her face decorations,  I am sure there must be a name for it.  beautiful art for sure.  I love theanimals too,  they are sooooooo cute, it must have been amazing to be able to be right there taking their pictures.  I hope Chuck is not getting it too. Where all the furbabies excited to see you when you got home?

Pam,  I hope you are not getting that flu, must have been terrible to be in court and wanting to be in your cozy house, feeling so icky

Jean,  I hope Joel does not have the flu too,  darn flu, it is hitting a ton of people.

Betty,  I hope you and your family stay well too, good idea to stay away from hospitals and even the malls.

Melanie and April, while I was watching Phantom last night, he was munching away on his hay,  I am so glad he got better fast,  eheheh I did notice that he was chubby too,  --good sign he gets lots of love and goodies

Hi Chels, Mary, Phyl and bobby,  I hope everyone is doing good and having a great week

Carol, good to hear you garage door was able to be fixed without too much trouble.,  winter just rain,  I wish,it is -2C tonight brrrrrrrrrrr

grrr the post would not let me modify it.

I wanted to tell you that Emily is babysitting on Wednesday nights for a lady who is taking a photography class,  her little girl is 5 and is so cute and just a little sweetie.  Emily babysat first on Saturday night so the lady could go to David Cooperfield and again tonight and so far she made $50.00,  she thinks that is great.  I answered the ad from Kijji and we went to meet her and her daughter, they also have a cute little dog.  Emily said  Michaela is such a nice little girl,  goes to bed well and when we first met her she was not shy at all and did not mind her mother leaving and us being there with her.

This is a third attempt to post last nights post, now it is way out of order

Morgan is about the same, she’s starting to look like Rudolph grin5  Kayce is feeling a little better.  Aiden has made it through surgery and was in recovery still when I talked with Misty, he might get to come home on Thursday as long as there is no complications.

Hi! Bobby – you also be safe and thanks for the good vibes,

Jean – our dogs are still on the old time, the time change is hard on everyone both human and four legged, I never hear of anyone liking the time change, I looked through your posts to find the driveway pictures, what a huge project, you guys did an awesome job and it looks beautiful,

Bev – I would love a 75 degree day, sorry to hear that Splash is lame, I hope that the shoes help, does your vet have any idea why he is going lame? Just read that your GD is also sick, hope that she feels better quickly, way too much of this going around,

Melanie – sorry to hear that Phantom is not feeling well, I hope that he feels better quickly, give him a  from us, I have him up, great blame me, Duane probably just feels like we do that it has to be the perfect name,  heck we named Carmens little girl CC and that isn’t what she gets called most of the time haha

Betty – thank you for calling earlier I had already left the house thud I ordered a new cable today, they were on back order but hopefully it will arrive before the snow,

Chris – they are advising people hear also to not go to the ER or doctors unless they get worse, Kayce ob office advised her of the same thing and they are monitoring her from home, they don’t want her to come in contact with H1N1 in case that isn’t what she has and they don’t want her to expose the other patients in their office if she does have it, I would have loved to see CC and Belle running with the kids,

Chels – love all snaps, thank you so much for sharing them with all of us,

Judy –  hoping that your back/leg pain goes away quickly Hugs would love to see pictures of your trip when you have time and feel better,

Carol –  Kayce said her arm was sore after she received her shot, oh no how could you lose power during the game thud  I’m trying to be really careful not to get sick, drinking lots of OJ, and I’m trying to get my sleep if only the dogs would quite getting me up at 4 am,

Mak – great job at the 4-H banquet, I so hope that the call that you received of Chip results in him getting an excellent home, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed, please keep us updated,

Pam – still keeping my fingers crossed that you don’t get picked for jury duty, thank you for the Laurie update yippee she’s back in the US, bummer that she is sick, hope that she feels better quickly,

Joy – see that you’ve also joined the sick crew, hope that you start feeling better quickly too, please tell your mom Happy Birthday from all of us and give her a Hugs actually please wait to give her the hug until you feel better,

I’m going to bed after I finish some work and this last load of laundry is dry,

Sending everyone warm healthy BIG Hug! with lots of Heart

Good Night.
