Morgan's going to stay home tomorrow and see if she can kick this cold by staying down.  Kayce is doing better.  Aiden is doing really well, I've still not seen him because I don't dare go near him.  I've got a crappy headache tonight so I'm going to bed, hoping it's stress and not that I've caught anything.  I'm so sorry about last nights post, I posted it again earlier today and it still didn't post thud

Sending all of you extra BIG Hug! and Heart

Good Night.

Dancing Well I am a happy camper - the Yankees finally decided they wanted to win and win they did.  One of the best Series I've watched in a long time - it could have gone either way.  Phyl - the Phillies have a good team and they're much younger so they'll probably be back next year.

Laurie - OK, who was holding the rhino for that first snap or were you brave enough to sneak up behind  Rolling on floor laughing Love the pix of the waitress - such beautiful designs on her face.

Pam - I agree with Laurie - you need to get some Tamiflu as soon as possible - I'd be willing to be that courtroom was swarming with those flu bugs.

Chris - how exciting for Emily to be babysitting - $50 is awesome - what is Kijji?

Beckie - good idea for Morgan to stay home - I know she wants to keep her grades up but she's not going to learn much if she's feeling so puny - she should be able to get her work assignments and catch up on what she's missed - glad to hear Kayce is felling better and that Aiden may come home tomorrow - hope a good night's sleep will help that headache disappear.

Judy - how's the pain in your leg doing? Do you know what is causing the pain?

yawn got the house set up for bunco tomorrow night so I'm off to  Sleep

Hugs to all and  Jingles to those who are still under the weather.

 Hi! And Good Morning Everyone!!!

Beckie - So glad to hear Morgan and Kayce are feeling better yippee Hope Aiden recovers quickly and will be able to come home today! Our vet feels Splash has extremely dry hooves and they become cracked but he only has problems with the one foot.  We started Splash on Biotin about two months ago as our vet said it would strengthen his hooves. However, the supplement must be maintain for eight to 12 months to see any improvement. There's pros and cons to this supplement (I know it's rather expensive) and only time will tell how well it works. In the mean time will have to keep shoes on his front feet. After his foot cracks, then an infection sets in.

Betty - Yeah, Ginger pretends to be a watch dog roflmbo That was cute, Betty (pretends)  Rolling on floor laughing Oh yeah again - Heart the icon Rottie!!!

For several months I let Ginger stay inside but she is a real pest  Wink She so loves attention and just won't leave you alone. When I ask her to go lay down then she pouts  Roll Eyes Really, every time you set down she is there wanting loved on with her head in your lap. This is OK for the first hour or so  roflmbo She doesn't leave the property so she is outside all day and in the sun room at night  cunning Right now she is waiting for her morning walk Waiting... I will take her soon after my  Coffee   smile1

Thanks for asking about my granddaughter everyone - She is much better and only missed one day of school   Pillow Fight

Have a great Thursday everyone!!!

Just here for a sec - disasterous day at work - was supposed to get off early so I could get ready for bunco but the stores only got half their weekly order so I spent most of the morning trying to find out where/when they would show up - unfortunately it won't be until tomorrow which means they'll have to call in extra help.

Food is ready so just waiting for the group to show up - will be back later  Cheesy

Beckie sorry to hear you have a terrible headache,  I hope you are feeling better today and I am soo glad Kayce, Morgan and Aiden are doing better today.

Jeepers I used to get 2.00 for babysitting all evening when I was a teen.  Lisa called Emily today and asked her to babysit tomorrow so she can go to a movie,  Emily said yes,  I don't blame her,  the little girl is so cute and funny.  Emily enjoys watching her,  I bet since it is not a school night, they will watch a movie together.

Carol Kijiji is a trade/buy/sell site.  I noticed the ad and called for Emily, Lisa (the mom) has two foster teenage daughters but they are not supposed to babysit - probably because being foster children it is not their job/duty to babysit the other children in the house, (they need their own time to be kids and don't live at home for whatever reason).  Lisa said they are sweet girls and Emily did know them a bit from her school, they had things they do on Wednesday nights and go to relief home on the weekend.

here is the canadian link

and I see there is an american link too

Maybe everyone has the same dirty kitchen as me, and just got finished.

This morning, my aging cat tried to jump on the bed and fell, again.  I was noticing how bony her rear was, and her back was, and just feeling sad, you know.  Well, the little manure!  Brought a live squirrel in the back door.  Now, this was new to me, we have had chipmunks, but no squirrels.  Let me tell you, chipmunks are better.  Nothing was broken, but that was pure luck.  That thing bounced off every wall, every window, every dresser top, counter top, every door, stuff was flying.  I couldn't find it and went in the bathroom to look, started closing the door to look behind, and it leaped from the top of the door TO MY FACE.  It was like a horror movie and I've got the scratches to prove it.  Really cute.  I finally chased it out of the bedroom, kept the cat in, and propped the front door open.  Lordy, it had better be gone.

On the good side, I did a nice thing today.  I was going to see Willie Nelson tonight, it was sold out.  A friend was so envious and sad that he hadn't gotten tickets in time, yep, I sent him along with my ticket.  I went to a concert the other night at the Ryman (Patty Loveless) and my rear is still sore from the wood pews, and it was wonderful, so I am satisfied.  I am going to keep telling my self I am satisfied.

Pam, your experience sounds rotten, dear.  Um I hope you get out of it, but to do that you will be really sick, so , um, well . . . . .

Bev, that is what I don't like about dogs, they are so demanding, with tongues and claws.  But I like that you like dogs, LOL,
especially ones that need saving.

Laurie, got yourself some rocks, woohoooo, you go girl!  The pics are great, and the waitress, oh my, what a lovely person.  Your trip sounds wonderful and I look forward to many tidbits and stories.

Fingers crossed that all is going well with everyone who has the crud of any kind, especially Kayce.  I hope Aiden is coming along.

Yet another very sad day for our country.  Those poor people and their families.

bobby, ouchiee,  your poor face,  I hope you cleaned your scratches good,  so you dont get an infection from his little claws.  It was sweet of you to send your friend to see Willy  High Five!

My friend Terry and I are going on the bus trip to Bangor Maine on Saturday wooohooooo USA shopping here we come LOL,  we have our little pieces of paper stating we got the H1N1 flu shot, just in case they say anything at the border.  I am spending the night tomorrow night at her house so I don't have to travel the highway by myself at 5 am and it will be easier for me to get up at her house and get to the bus on time for 6 am

Carol I hope you win at 'Bunco tonight and have lots of goodies to eat

wohooo Donna,  I hope all is well with you and your Mom,  I know you are busy but maybe you will drop in soon
