My updates are downloading now, so I might as well catch up with the board now, in case the installation throws me into the pit  ...Pam, I do remember the wax lips, loved them  . Laurie - Thank you for the information on this nasty H1N1 flu! So far hubby isn't running a fever and no cold thus far... Took his blood pressure yesterday and cannot get an accurate reading  My daughter an RN insists we keep a BP monitor around. He's never had high blood pressure. I'll be keeping a check on him as he won't and don't slow down!!! Betty - Thanks for the link to the Coconut Strips  I haven't seen any since I was a kid. I have seen something similar but not these  OK, you really need to help your mom around the house  Geez, everyone stay well if at all possible  |

Wanted to let all those praying that my dad has only a few hours to live. His organs have all but shut down and they are making him comfortable. My prayer request now is that he hangs on long enough that my nephew who is in the army get here to say goodbye before it is too late. He has been estranged from the family and my dad really wants to see him. He was somewhat coherent tonight when my mom, sister and brothers went down to see him. They wouldn't let us in when we went down earlier. April is staying with my mom tonight so that she is not alone is the call comes. Thank you, my dear friends for all your support. Melanie

Oh, Melanie - so sorry to hear the news about your dad - was really hoping that he could recover even if just for a while -  that your nephew will be able to get there in time to say good-bye.  and  for you and your whole family during this most difficult time  |
