Melanie, so sorry that your dad is in his last hours on this earth. I surely hope that your nephew will be able to see and speak with your dad before he passes. Then the family will have been brought together and your dad may truly be in peace. Thankfully, you and the others in the family are there for him ... ... Hope everyone else was able to get enough last night ...

Melanie & April - know we are all keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers today - it will bring your Dad comfort to have all his family with him at this time. Laurie - video was cute - unfortunately, over the years I have heard similar renditions of other songs - my kids & GK are musically challenged

Um, unfortunate. Hysterical, especially the last note. But they tried.
Taking a sweat break from leaf duty. Dang it's hot here today.

Laurie - thanks for the info and pic on the rhino's 'spigots'.
Looks like HW has some visitors. Beckie, you surely have a friendly group of donkeys. Maybe they are getting treats?

It's the start of the movie Star Wars... and a high school band totally MURDERING the music. It's just funny.... I can't imagine what they sounded like BEFORE they practiced that piece... must have been really disastrous to the ears.

We had a great time shopping yesterday, the bus left at 6 am, we got to Bangor Maine I think around 9:30 am or so. We bought tons of stuff, got home around 1:30 am, I got a Butterball turkey for .98 cents a pound, great buy Terry said it can be as high as 2.69 a pound here. I was able to get the kids some of the things on their Christmas, wooohooo. They did not ask us about the flu shot at the border either.

Chris, glad that you had a good trip 'south'. Sounds like you got a great buy on the turkey. It's so good to get a head start on getting festive season presents. Glad to hear that you didn't get asked about the flu shot at the border. Eric and I don't plan to get it.
